As the weather gets colder and the trees go up, curling up with a warm blanket and watching a Christmas movie brings people together. Families bond over Christmas traditions and keep the holiday spirit alive year after year. From the variety of options, there is something for everyone whether you like comedy, romance, or classics.

Out of the 11 students we have interviewed there seemed to be a winner of most watched movie out of the movie list. The winner is, to no surprise, “Elf,” starring Will Ferrell. Elf is an amazing movie to watch with family and friends for a funny, feel good mood going into the Christmas season.
Another fan favorite movie was “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” This classic Christmas movie combines humor and heart, teaching about the true meaning of Christmas that is not focused around presents.
To tie with “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Home Alone” is second in the fan favorite. “Home Alone” is truly exciting to watch the rebellious Kevin have a blast, along with a good humorous scare during his Christmas being home alone.
“National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” also stood out as a favorite. This comedy movie follows a classic family Christmas, showing the ups and downs of the holidays. The clumsy main characters never fail to make you laugh, making Christmas Vacation a fun-filled family movie.
As Christmas approaches, spending time with loved ones lifts holiday spirits. So whether you like holiday classics or comedies, Christmas movies will always fill your house with holiday cheer!
