Recently I went on the most perfect trip to Oregon’s coastline and experienced the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and relaxation to get away after a stressful semester
Lincoln City, nestled along the Pacific coast, was the perfect location for my coastal getaway, with incredible vibes, wonderful food, and stunning beaches.
We stayed at an Airbnb in Lincoln City located right on the beach. Our Airbnb allowed us to have the perfect and convenient stay being right on the coastline.
Each morning, we started our morning off with red bull spritzers, matcha, and chai tea lattes from Cup of Jo- which was the cutest drive thru coffee shop with a welcoming atmosphere, and operated by Lincoln City locals.
For a heartier breakfast, we ate at Otis Cafe, which equipped us for the nearly four-hour drive back home with their generous portions. The restaurant had such amazing customer service, but make sure to arrive early as there might be a semi-long wait time.
A highlight of the trip was visiting Cape Kiwanda beach, which is truly such a beautiful gem on Oregon’s coastline.
The breathtaking ocean views and waves made for an unforgettable experience. One may even climb up the sand dunes to experience an even better view, although semi-challenging, the view makes every step worth it!
Cape Kiwanda also is home to numerous coffee shops, ice cream shops, and restaurants along its boardwalk for a quick bite to eat after walking the coastline.
Or, for a more calmer experience, one may stop by Cannon Beach on the drive back.
The wide shore allows for the perfect walk with stunning views. Whether watching the sunset, or simply enjoying the fresh air, Cannon Beach lived up to its reputation as one of the most renowned destinations in the Pacific Northwest.
From the cozy breakfasts to the breathtaking views, my trip to Lincoln City and its neighboring destinations was the perfect break from reality.
Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway, adventure, beautiful views, or a quiet retreat, Oregon has a multitude of destinations for you
