May is just around the corner and you know what that means… AP exams! But don’t stress, as this article will help you prepare for your exams.
Step 1: Don’t cram/stay up late the night before. That last minute review session will only hurt more than it will help. Getting a good night’s sleep will drastically improve your performance and memory when it is time for the big test.
Step 2: Eat a good breakfast. Testing on an empty stomach will only distract you, and an extra morning review is, unfortunately, not a substitute for breakfast.
Step 3: Arrive early and on time. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to prevent a risk of traffic delays or a missed test, especially if you live far away from school.
Step 4: Keep a positive attitude. No matter how you perform, at the end of the day, AP Exams are just a test. It won’t define you or the rest of your schooling career.
Step 5: Take a deep breath and set aside all distractions. Once you sit down for the test, all you can do is your best! Put all your effort into the test in front of you and realize that you’ll do just great.
Testing can be stressful, but that’s okay. AP Exams are just another step on your path in life, and life is too short to stress over a simple score. Keep your head up and look forward to bigger and better things.
