As one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country, Dallas is a place to visit. It is nice to get away from the Seattle rain as the mid-fall weather is still sunny and sitting at a beautiful 75 degrees. There are many tourist attractions and museums to visit that will make your trip worthwhile.
The John F. Kennedy memorial site was one to remember as you can start your tour with the Sixth Floor Museum. The museum has visuals to engage with such as short films and signage to read about his life. After attending the museum you can hop on a trolley tour that takes you down Elm street and the surrounding areas with a tour guide who gives a speech honoring the story of JFK. Finally, ending the experience you can walk past the fountains next to the museum. This experience is very popular amongst tourists as it is very educational and enjoyable.
In Dallas, there is something for everyone. Amazing eateries along with food tours for the foodies, the American Airlines Center hosting basketball games for sports fans, a tour at Southern Methodist University for high school seniors, and museums for the curious. With so many activities, Dallas is one of my favorite cities that I have visited.
