Hi, my name is Leo Bessler and I am a senior at Bellarmine. In school, I enjoy history and the sciences. Outside of school, I am a rower for Commencement Bay Rowing Club on American Lake and I am looking to continue rowing into college. My hobbies include being in the outdoors whether it be hiking, camping, or skiing. This summer I plan on hiking the Wonderland trail with friends, a nearly 100 miles loop around Mt. Rainier. I joined the journalism staff because I enjoy discussing current affairs with my peers and find that writing is a great way to express my interests. I am really looking forward to my second year of journalism!
